The variations of eating meat and potatoes are endless. One of the favourites of every Parsi household seems to be mashed potatoes stuffed with cooked ground/mince meat, either beef or lamb, which has been seasoned with a dash of sugar and a dash of vinegar to make it khattu-mitthu. It is well worth trying, difficult as it sounds, as it is quite delicious and can be considered as a Parsi version of the Scotch egg!
