Beer Soup

Polewka z Piwa


  • 1 qt. beer
  • 4 egg yolks
  • 4 teaspoon sugar
  • Croutons or cheese


Bring beer to boiling point. Beat egg yolks with sugar until lemon colored. Slowly mix half cup of the hot beer with yolks and then carefully add yolks to boiling beer, stirring constantly. Do not boil because the yolks will curdle. Serve with hot croutons or your favorite cheese.
