Left-Over Roast Turkey

  • Turkey bones
  • ¼ teaspoon ginger
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 2 teaspoon lemon juice
  • Salt to taste
  • Turkey meat
  • ½ teaspoon sugar


Cover bones with water, bring to boiling point. Add remaining ingredients with exception of meat, and simmer until the flavor of the bones has been extracted and liquid cooked down. Add turkey meat, heat thoroughly and serve with short breads.
