Trout or Pike au Gratin

Pstrąg lub Szczupak au Gratin


  • 3 lbs. trout or pike
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • ½ cup butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • ½ cup bread crumbs
  • ½ cup chopped mushrooms
  • ½ cup fish stock or water


Brush the grill with butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs. On this place the whole fish. Sprinkle generously with bread crumbs, the mushrooms and onion browned in butter, and the grated cheese. Dot generously with pieces of butter. Add stock. Bake in 350° oven for 45 minutes.
