Eggs in Bulls' Eyes

Ingredients

  • 6 eggs
  • Butter
  • 6 slices Vienna bread
  • Cream

Method

Remove centers from bread slices and saute crusts in butter. Cover bottom of baking pan with a thin layer of cream. Arrange bread crusts. Drop an egg into each crust. Season. Pour a teaspoon of cream on each egg and bake in 350° oven for 15 minutes. Garnish with lettuce and anchovies.
