Egg Noodle Pudding

Ingredients

  • 4 cups flour
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 2 tablespoon melted butter
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 10 chopped almonds
  • ½ cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon lemon rind, finely chopped

Method

Make noodles from the first three ingredients. Cut into your favorite shapes and sizes. Cook in salted water, rinse with cold water and drain. Mix noodles with remaining ingredients. Fill a buttered baking dish dusted with bread crumbs and bake 1 hour at 275°. Serve with hard or fruit sauce.
