Dairy Dishes: Cream


Fillings for Naleśniki

  • 4 egg yolks
  • 1 tablespoon flour
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 cup sweet or sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon rind


Beat egg yolks in top of double boiler over heat. Add remaining ingredients and continue to beat until thick. Cool. Place a tablespoon of filling on a naleśnik and roll. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.
