Chrust

Ingredients

  • 5 egg yolks
  • 5 tablespoon sour cream
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 ½ cups flour
  • 3 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon brandy or cognac

Method

Add salt to eggs and beat until thick and lemon-colored. Add sugar and flavoring and continue to beat. Add sour cream and flour alternately, mixing well after each addition. Knead on floured board until the dough blisters. Proceed' to cut and fry as above.
