The bitter taste of radicchio can be pleasing and unusual. It goes well with all grilled and roasted meats. The radicchio can also be quartered as indicated here, then threaded onto skewers, brushed lightly with olive oil and cooked under an oven grill or on a barbecue. Additionally, it goes well with a mixed meat and vegetable grill.
