Smoothies are a popular way to enjoy two or more fruits. At home, I serve them in my favorite wine glasses. Children will enjoy being included when you’re relaxing with these “cocktails.”

Ingredients

  • cups pineapple juice
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 8-10 strawberries
  • 2 tablespoons wheat germ
  • Or:
  • cups grapefruit juice
  • 2 ice cubes
  • 3 kiwi, peeled and quartered
  • 2 tablespoons wheat germ

Method

Place all ingredients in a blender. Process on high speed about 30 seconds, until blended. Serve immediately, or reblend for 5 seconds just before serving.
