If you asked me my view of Bakewell Tart, my answer would once have been Take it or leave it’. I’ve been missing out, though, for having tasted it one weekend at a friend’s house, I now love it and regret all those times I could have eaten more. After some tinkering at home, here is my version. It’s pretty good, although not as yellow.
