  • About
The importance of chicken soup to our well-being is widely appreciated. Chicken soup is a medium for just about any flavor or texture. It can be spicy or mild, substantial or light, creamy or as clear as consommé.
In its most basic form, chicken soup is chicken broth with pieces of chicken in it, either the chicken from the parts used to make the broth or, in a more extravagant preparation, raw chicken cooked in the strained broth. For someone feeling sickly, this is perhaps as elaborate as the soup should get, but most of us usually crave something more robust.
