  • About
To remove tiny food particles that may get trapped in the rubber gasket on the underside of the lid of Cuisinart Elite models, use a small metal spatula (the thin, flexible kind used to frost cakes). Works perfectly!
Another trick is to turn the lid upside down and rinse it under running water, pushing up and down on the gasket rapidly to release any tiny bits. A toothbrush also does a good job. You can also use a spray attachment to run water through the small openings in the top of the lid.
Wipe up spills on the base or cord quickly with a clean, damp sponge or nonabrasive cloth, then wipe dry. Never immerse the base in liquid as there is a danger of electric shock. Unplug the processor before cleaning.
