Chinese flowering cabbage is part of the large brassica family and is found frequently in dishes in Hong Kong where it is usually known by its more familiar Cantonese name, choi sum. Many in Hong Kong consider this the best of the Chinese cabbages. It has green leaves and may have small yellow flowers that are eaten along with the leaves and stems. In Hong Kong this is one of the most common and popular leafy vegetables and is delicious as a stir-fry dish. Look for it in Chinese food stores.
