  • About
Certain types of jam, preserves, and marmalade have seeds or lumps, which some bakers prefer to remove for a smoother texture. To remove, strain through a small strainer, pushing and stirring with the back of a spoon. Occasionally scrape the underside of the strainer to loosen up any accumulation.
