Chinese flowering cabbage (Brassica rapa) is usually known by its more familiar Cantonese name, choi sam. It has yellowish green leaves and may have small yellow flowers which are eaten along with the leaves and stalks. It is obtainable from Chinese grocers and is delicious stir-fried.
