We deep fry whole noodle cakes, from packets of instant ramen noodles from the supermarket, until they’re golden brown. We leave them to cool and crush them on to the beef in the Korean Gangster sandwich. These are a brilliant way of adding a lovely, toasty crunch to many sandwiches and they’ll keep in an airtight container for as long as breadcrumbs.
