Toasted nori and certain dried seaweed varieties are delicious on their own, with rice, or in a sandwich, but they can also be pulsed into a powder and used as a top-ping. It’s very worthwhile to fortify broths with a little sea lettuce or konbu, right along with your carrots and onions.
