Cortinarius (Telamonia) hinnuloides Rob. Henry (illustrated 50% life size) Cap 3–5cm across, conical, expanding to convex; hygrophanous, pale straw-ochre when dry, reddish-yellow and mottled when wet. Stem 30–60Γ—5–11mm, straw-ochre. Flesh ochre, brownish with age; taste mild, smell pleasant, like orange-blossom. Gills distant; dull rusty brown. Spores 7–8.5Γ—5–5.7ΒΌ, pip-shaped. Spore print rusty brown. Habitat in mixed woods; early autumn. Very rare. Not edible.
