Let’s face it, smoke makes everything taste good. Barbecues not only impart that flavour, they also reach very high temperatures that ovens cannot. Most barbecues can heat up to 300°C (570°F), so pizzas and flatbreads cook quickly with the delicious aromas similar to a wood-fired oven. Once you get over any fear of the dough sticking (it doesn’t) this will be an epiphany for you.
