In addition to standard wooden spoons, it’s useful to have a slotted spoon for lifting and draining noodles before dividing them up between serving bowls, as well as a ladle for transferring the broth from pan to bowl, and a colander or strainer. If you intend to make your own noodles, you’ll need a rolling pin and something to drape the noodles over while they dry (or you can use the rolling pin).
