  • About
It always amazes me how others notice the difference when I grind my own cinnamon, and how much they enjoy the pop of flavor from the little chunks. Use flaky, easy to peel canela (cinnamon) that is found in Latin supermarkets. It has a distinct flavor and is easily ground in the blender. Pulse until coarsely chopped. Increase speed and blend until ground into a fine powder with a few small bits of cinnamon pieces. Store in an airtight container, and when it starts to lose its smell, it’s time to blend some more.
