Gabriel Kreuther: The Spirit of Alsace

  • About

This lesser-known grape makes a fresh and delicate wine. But it’s a tricky grape to work with and needs to come from a great origine and a talented winemaker to bring it to its full potential. Zotzenberg is the only Grand Cru vineyard, and this terroir in the commune of Mittelbergheim is shared by a handful of winemakers. Look for Domaine Boeckel, Domaine Albert Seltz, Lucas et Andre Rieffel, and Domaine Armand Gilg.
