  • About

These are dried seeds of the sesame plant. Unhulled, the seeds range from grayish white to black in colour, but once the hull is removed, the sesame seeds are tiny, somewhat flattened, cream coloured, and pointed on one end. Sesame seeds are valued throughout Asia, as a flavouring agent and as a source of oil and paste. Keep them in a glass jar in a cool, dry place or keep them frozen. Either way, they will last for weeks.
