A rectangular aluminum or stainless steel pan with shallow sides. Most common sizes are full-size sheet pans (18 inches by 26 inches) and half-size sheet pans (18 inches by 12 inches). They are used both for baking and holding breads. For a home oven, a recipe that requires a full-size sheet pan can be baked in two jelly roll pans, which normally measure 17¼ inches by 11½ inches by 1 inch.
