Flaunting their many shiny hues, berries scream for attention from hungry – and thirsty – passers-by. From sweet, juicy supermarket favourites to unusual, wild, bitter fruits – if it’s edible, we’ll find a way of turning it into booze. Fresh bought berries can often be expensive and, while cheaper frozen fruit is perfectly acceptable, it’s a whole lot more rewarding growing or foraging for your own harvest.
