I love toast. I know I’m not the only one. There’s nothing better than hot toast with a thick layer of melting butter threatening to dribble down your arm, or bubbling melted cheese on a slice of your favourite bread. Everyone loves a toastie and has a favourite recipe. The great thing about toasties is that anyone can create one. Mention toasties to someone and they’ll tell you about their signature recipe. When my friends and colleagues heard about this book they all said, ‘That’s a great idea, I love toasties!’
