Sometimes it’s a simple, quick trick that works magic in the kitchen. That’s exactly what Basic Sugar Syrup does with frostings. Try our Glossy Fudge Frosting and Peanut Butter Frosting and see if you don’t agree.

Keep a jar of the syrup handy in the refrigerator. Also use it to sweeten beverages. And when you have an elegant cake that deserves an out-of-the-world frosting, or a plain one that needs a glamorous coverlet, put the syrup to work for you.
