‘Look at the elder trees,’ I said to Itamar. ‘They are just starting to blossom. I can’t wait until we can start picking.’
He looked back at me. ‘You know what this means?’
‘Of course I do. It means we get elderflower cordial back on the menu, my absolute favourite drink of all time.’
‘Yes that, but also do you realise this means it has been a year?’
