  • About
Making bread is easy and will give you the best bread you have ever tasted. There are a few things you can do to make it even easier though:
When making your pre-fermented bread doughs, always add the water to the mixing bowl before the flour. It lubricates the bowl and helps disperse the flour evenly, so your final dough will be less lumpy.
We use active dried yeast in all our bread recipes. We don’t hydrate or activate it in water – we just put it in with our flour.
Different flours have different properties, so you will find a wholemeal or rye flour proves much quicker than a white flour. Keep this in mind when you bake.
