Another one of Paris’s all-organic markets, Marché Raspail, is snugly set up along the boulevard Raspail in the posh 6th arrondissement. A favorite among well-to-do American expats and their impeccably sophisticated neighbors, this market is great for people watching as well as food shopping. Many of the vendors you will find here can also be found at Marché Biologique des Batignolles, but there are also unique discoveries to be made, including Eric Refour’s stand, where you will find a rotating rainbow of apple varieties that shift with the changing of the seasons, and O’Regal Muffins, purveyor of locally sourced, golden brown English muffins and other baked goods. Stop by and say hello to Valérie, who will serve you a coffee to go while you choose among her famous muffins, scones, and gâteaux.
