  • About
As with rabbits and hares, game-birds from friends tend to arrive fully clad. In the case of most game, and depending on the weather, it should hang for a week to ten days before being plucked. Hang, head uppermost, in a cool airy place. Pigeons are eaten fresh, but can be kept hanging in their feathers for a few days until they are wanted.
