  • About
Two horseradish cultivars are the most widely grown in the United States. The first, known as Maliner Kren (or common) horseradish, has broad, crinkled leaves with prominent veins. The second, called Bohemian, has big, smooth leaves that taper at the base. Both have large roots, though the roots of Maliner Kren are typically a bit larger. Maliner Kren is also the type usually found in supermarkets.
