Azarpesha Along with Ghvino Underground, Azarpesha has been at the forefront of the new enogastronomic scene (and food and wine tourism) in Tbilisi. Opened in 2013, this restaurant with a small wine bar features a 150-strong list of natural wines from Georgia, Europe and beyond. The delicious food is created by chef Ketevan Mindorashvili, in partnership with John Wurdeman of Pheasant’s Tears and Luarsab and Nino Togonidze, of Salobie restaurant. Many of the dishes are inspired by regional and traditional Georgian recipes with a creative twist given by the chef. If the mood is hip and relaxed, the roots are serious, as Luarsab’s impressive collection of drinking vessels and early Georgian artefacts attests. Ingorovka Street, 2; tel: +995 598466663
