Rooms Hotel This stylish, luxury designer hotel in central Tbilisi has the coolest vibe, a huge garden, a restaurant and inspired breakfasts. There’s also a sister hotel in the breathtaking mountains of Kazbegi at Stepantsminda. www.roomshotels.com/tbilisi

Hotel Gomi 19, in the old part of city, has a panoramic terrace with some of the biggest, highest views in Tbilisi. The unpretentious hotel is incredibly welcoming thanks to its owner, Mari Lukhumaidze, who’s the best hostess I know. It’s my home away from home! hotelgomi19@gmail.com
