Twice a year, every year, Oriel McRae and her flock of 100 chooks combine forces to raise money for World Vision. After two weeks of getting up at five o’clock in the morning to bake, Oriel sets up a stall in the main street of Henty so people can buy her sponges, biscuits, cakes and pies. The effort has raised more than $22 000 for the international relief organisation since she started in 1999.
