  • 15 oz (426 g) farmer cheese
  • 2 egg yolks

Method

  1. Mash the farmer cheese with a fork, or run through a meat grinder.
  2. Mix the cheese with egg yolks, sugar, and add vanilla sugar to taste. You can just use the cheese as filling or mix in some fresh chopped fruit.
  3. Fill each pierogi with about 1 tablespoon of the cheese filling, place in a pot of boiling water, and cook until the pierogies float to the top.
