This recipe is from our lovely friend, chef Sean Toye. Sean worked with us for a little while and introduced these mild curry pies to our menu. If you love a chip shop curry sauce, this is the pie for you: it’s really easy to make and the filling is lovely on its own too.

Ingredients

  • 3 skinless chicken breasts chopped into 1—2cm chunks
  • tbsp mild curry powder
  • 1 small white on

Method

Sprinkle the chicken with half a teaspoon of the curry powder and set it aside to marinate a little.

In a large frying pan over a medium heat, fry the onions and garlic in the olive oil until soft. Add the chicken and fry, stirring all the time, for two or three minutes before adding in the rest of the curry powder and the cumin, turmeric and chilli flakes. Continue to fry until the chi
