  • About

These are not only fast and easy to prepare but also impressive to serve. The use of two different doughs might seem unusual at first, but the result emphasizes the best qualities of each.

Ingredients

Sweet Dough

  • ¾ cup unbleached all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons granulated sugar

Method

  1. To prepare the sweet dough by hand, combine the dry ingredients in a medium mixing bowl and stir well to combine. Cut the butter into 1-tablespoon pieces and add to the dry ingredients. Toss once or twice to coat the pieces of butter. Then using your hands or a pastry blender, break the butter into tiny pieces and pinch and squeeze it into the dry ingredients. Occasional
