I’ll take “Famous Hybrids” for $800, Alex.

A cross between a grizzly bear and a polar bear.

What is a pizzly?

Yes!

That’s real, by the way. Pizzlies exist. So do ligers, wholphins, and mules (what happened there?). But soon, the greatest hybrid of all will dominate the airwaves. Part brownie. Part cheesecake. All genius. What is the Matcha-Marbled Brownie Cheesecake Bar, Alex? Yes!

It’s a struggle to choose between two of my favorite desserts, so I decided to combine them. Moist, decadent brownie batter swirled with luscious cheesecake batter, finished off with a sophisticated matcha injection. I only use ceremonial-grade matcha due to its vibrant color and its earthy, tannic flavor with just a hint of sweetness. You can use culinary-grade matcha instead, but understand that it isn’t quite the same because it is often too bitter, has a dull grey color and doesn’t exert itself in the right way for pastry.
