The simplest dishes are often the best, and this is a no-fuss breakfast of champions. We serve it with some spicy sweet kasundi jam which perfectly balances out the saltiness of the bacon and the tanginess of the toasted sourdough.

Ingredients

  • 12 rashers streaky bacon
  • 8 slices sourdough
  • 50 ml sun

Method

We cook our bacon in the oven as it tastes just as delicious and it also frees up space on the hob to focus on the eggs. Preheat the oven to 180°C fan and line a baking tray with greaseproof paper. Cook the bacon for 10 minutes or until crispy, turning it halfway through cooking.
