There are endless variations on how to make houmous but the basic ingredients are the same: chickpeas, tahini, garlic and lemon. Some houmous connoisseurs are very particular about their chickpeas and refuse to use tinned, but there are others who swear by them. Experiment, and you can decide what you prefer!
