The Dominican Republic is the largest producer of palm hearts in the world. The look and texture is closest to asparagus. They are considered an exotic delicacy. Hearts of palm are also used in other types of salad.

Ingredients

  • 100 g can palm hearts, drained and sliced crossways
  • 2 ripe mangoes, peeled and thinly sliced
  • 2

Method

To make the dressing, mix the first four ingredients and then drizzle olive oil in slowly while stirring constantly. Season to taste.

Assemble all the salad ingredients in a bowl and serve the dressing on the side.
