Ingredients

  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. sugar 4 eggs

Method

  • Cream butter and sugar; beat in eggs one at a time.
  • Sift dry ingredients together; add alternately with the remaining ingredients, except filling and whipped cream, to creamed mixture. (Do not pour orange juice and milk into the same cup.)
  • Pour batter into 3 paper-lined 9" round layer cake pans. Bake in moderate oven (350°) about 35 minutes.
