Chocolate ice cream is the filling, chocolate frosting covers cake


  • 1 (17 to 18½ oz.) pkg. yellow cake mix
  • 3 pts. chocolate ice cream


  • Prepare cake mix as directed on package. Bake in 13 X 9 X 2" pan. Cool.
  • Cut cake in thirds to make 3 loaves. Split each loaf in halves to make 2 layers. Place in freezer until frozen.
  • Spread bottom slice of one loaf with 1 pt. ice cream, softened by stirring or beating with electric mixer. Top with other half of loaf. Return to freezer. Repeat with othe
