Method
- Fry onion in bacon drippings. Sprinkle with paprika and immediately add ¼ cup water. Cook until liquid disappears and only clear fat remains.
- Add tomato purée and sliced green peppers. Add salt. Add sausage and cook under a heavy lid over low heat for about 20 minutes.
