These are slightly different to nachos, in the sense that they’re made from broken up poppadoms instead of tortilla chips, and they’re a right treat. You can fry the poppadoms yourself or use pre-made ones for an even quicker result.

  • 1 portion of pilau rice (homemade or from a packet is fine)

Method

How You Do It

Get your curry, rice and bhajis made or reheated, and your sauces if you’ve not bought them. If you’re making your own pickled chillies, they’ll need doing a day or so ahead.

If frying your own poppadoms, pour about 2.5cm of vegetable oil into a deep pan over a medium heat. If you’ve already made your own bhajis, use the same oil. Either fry the poppadoms whole o
