Method

Combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, lemon peel and juice.
Melt butter in saucepan; add flour and blend. Add cider and cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil. Add apple mixture and raisins. Bring to a boil and cool.
