  • Chill pie shell while preparing filling.
  • Combine applesauce, lemon juice and peel, sugar, eggs, butter and salt. Blend thoroughly and pour into pastry-lined pie pan.
  • Bake in very hot oven (450°F.) 15 minutes; red
