Ingredients
- Unbaked 9" pie shell
2 c 1½ c
Method
- Wash and stem elderberries. (Hold berries in palm of hand and pull stems off with wire egg beater, the kind shaped like tennis racquet.)
- Combine elderberries, apples, sugar, salt and tapioca, crushing berries with spoon.
- Spoon mixture into pie shell; dot with butter; top with pastry lattice.
